A new Executive Board for CLGE
On 5 October, the CLGE General Assembly has elected a new Executive Board.
On this picture you see the new team. Some experienced members will enable CLGE to secure the needed continuity, some newcommers will bring fresh ideas and change.
From left to right: Vice-Presidents Vladimir Krupa (HR), Thomas Jacubeit (DE), Secretary General Vladimir Tikhonov (RU), President Maurice Barbieri (CH), Treasurer Nicolas Smith (FR), Vice-Presidents Álvaro Mateo Y Milán (ES), Michail Kalogiannakis (GR), Mairolt Kakko (EE).
They lead the Councill of European Geodetic Surveyors uniting 39 member countries and 2 observing countries.
Ferah Pirlanta Köksal (TK) has been appointed as the new representative of the FIG Young Surveyors European Network.
Jean-Yves Pirlot (BE) is Director General and represents the Council in Brussels.
Julian Ismaili (AL/BE) will help the Treasurer, with accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
The incoming board expresses its special gratitude and thanks to the outgoing members Vasile Chiriac (MD), Dietter Seitz (DE), Muiris de Buitléir (IE) and Duncan Moss (UK).
