5th Romanian Surveying Week, Bucharest (RO), 23 – 26 October 2024

This international event is organised by the Romanian Surveyors’ Union (UGR), in partnership with the Faculty of Geodesy, Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, and in collaboration with International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) Commission 9 ‘Valuation and the Management of Real Estate‘, European Group of Surveyors (EGoS) and the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI).
The event will take place at the Sheraton Bucharest Hotel, Romania, between 23 and 26 of October 2024.
The main manifestation during the 5th edition of the Romanian Surveying Week (RSW) is the International Symposium GeoPreVi 2024, the scientific event of the Faculty of Geodesy.
The theme of the International Symposium GeoPreVi 2024 – the central part of the event -‘Geodetic Engineering at the Service of the Community‘, will bring together specialists from geodesy, surveying, cadastre, valuation and land management, local administration, GIS and other related fields.
This year’s edition of RSW will be opened by the 7th FIG Young Surveyors European Meeting on the topic ‘Building Together: Surveyors Leading Tomorrow’s Challenges‘.
During the second day of the RSW, FIG Commission 9 and EGoS will cover the topic ‘Transparency in the Real Estate Market and Dealing with Geodata‘, related to the main goal of FIG Commission 9, definition and improvement of transparency in the property market.
The GeoPreVi 2024 Symposium, along with technical sessions, roundtables and social activities organised within the Romanian Surveying Week in Bucharest will offer the professional frame and environment for discussions and knowledge exchange among surveyors participating at the international event. Sponsors and participants will present the latest technologies, solutions and projects in the technology expo.
CLGE has played an important role and supported the Romanian Surveyors Union in having the professional law approved. We have been kindly invited to make a short presentation during the Plenary session from 09:00 on 24 October.
