Breaking News: Romanian President Promulgates New Professional Law

On 29 October, just days after the 5th Romanian Surveying Week, President Klaus Werner Iohannis of Romania has promulgated the new Professional Law.

This marks a significant milestone: in 2023 and 2024, three of CLGE’s principal members (Belgium, Czech Republic, and Romania) have reformed their professions and established new professional Chambers. This is a tremendous achievement for Romanian geodetic surveyors, the profession as a whole, and Romanian society and the State.

This progress serves as an inspiring example for other CLGE members. We will soon provide more details on this breaking news.
