Geomatics 2024, Prague (CZ) – new CLGE Vice President Peter Repáň takes up the mantle!

Chair of APG Martin Hrdlička (L) and CLGE Vice President Peter Repáň (R).

Fresh from our Executive Board elections on 12 October, newly elected CLGE Vice President Peter Repáň from Slovakia wasted no time in getting down to work.

Peter was an invited guest at the Geomatics 2024 conference in Prague, Czech Republic, which was organised by the Czech Association of Entrepreneurs in Geomatics (APG). Peter greeted all those present on behalf of the Chamber of Surveyors and Cartographers of Slovakia (KGK) and CLGE.

He went on to highlight the important role of professional chambers in society, and congratulated the newly established Czech Chamber of Surveyors on the successful launch of its activities. Of course Peter offered our cooperation. One of the key topics of the conference was the Digital Technical Map of the Czech Republic and its future development. Peter recommends everyone to follow this unprecedented project in the Czech Republic closely.
