UN-GCGE Special Session – ‘Geodesy – From Invisible to Essential’ – 30 April 2025



The ‘United Nations Global Geodetic Centre of Excellence’ (UN-GGCE) is organising a Special Session on ‘Geodesy – From Invisible to Essential‘.

This Special Session forms part of the programme at the 2025 EGU General Assembly in Vienna.

All CLGE Delegates are encouraged to join this important Session which takes place in hybrid format on Wednesday, 30 April from 16:15 to 18:00 (CEST). For those present in person it will take place in Room 0.96/97. For those joining online the it will be streamed using Zoom. There is no need to register in advance, simply navigate to the Session page just before the it begins where a button to access the Zoom meeting will appear.

The Session will be co-chaired by Dr. rer. nat. Liubov POSHYVAILO-STRUBE, Associate Geospatial Information Officer, UN-GGCE who will also be presenting about the work of the Centre at our forthcoming General Assembly in Amersfoort (NL).
