European Satellite Navigation Competition



The ninth European Satellite Navigation Competition is on! With new regional partners in Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, Ireland, North America, Poland, and Portugal and the new title sponsor HPI Fleet&Mobility we are happy to announce that we have expanded our network once again. We would highly appreciate if you could spread the word about the competition.

This year’s prize pool is worth EUR 1 Mio – including cash prizes, business incubation, coaching, patent consulting, prototyping and marketing support, access to customers and user communities, and publicity. More than 30 prizes are waiting to be won! Get support by the largest network in satellite navigation with 24 partner regions worldwide and sponsoring partners such as the European GNSS Agency (GSA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the German Aerospace Center (DLR), HPI Fleet & Mobility, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). This is also the first year in which the European Commission is funding the competition’s prize pool and NOKIA Location & Commerce will be providing further support to the competition. For the ninth time we recognise the best ideas in the field of satellite navigation! You are working at a company or a research institute, you are a student or your work independently? Then be part of the ESNC 2012, everyone is welcome to join the international ideas competition! This year we award 24 regional prizes, 5 special prizes and 2 prototyping prizes! All winners will be honoured at an Awards Ceremony and an official state reception at the Munich Residenz in October. Take your chance to get your idea promoted!
