GISCAD-OV Accepted in Horizon 2020

After many years of fruitful cooperation with the GSA (since the CLGE Seminar in Umeå – 2011) CLGE managed to submit a successful bid at the European Commission. Together with a strong consortium led by the Italian GeoWeb and SOGEI, the GISCAD-OV project was approved by the European Commission on 14 August 2019 within the H2020 Programme.

The basic idea about a project on Cadastral Surveying with Galileo was introduced by the outgoing FIG Commission 3 Chair, Enrico Rispoli, and we are very grateful to him for this visionary proposal.

GeoWeb was a long time sponsor of CLGE and will join us again for at least three years. During the duration of the project, we are convinced that we will be able to intensify our collaboration, with the aim to get a structural cooperation.

The GSA also cooperates with us on the CLGE Students’ Contest. The 2019 edition is to  be awarded during the next INTERGEO in Stuttgart on 18 September 2019. The GSA is based in Prague now.
