CLGE Celebrates International Women’s Day 2021

CLGE has declared 2021 as the Year of Women in Surveying. This is in line with our theme of the year 2020 on how Geodetic Surveyors can contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Indeed, the UN SDG 05 is about gender equality. A Working Group for Women in Surveying led by Blaženka Mičević has recently started its work and is preparing some major events this year. We invite you to hear more from Blaženka in this short video.

Please come and learn more about our plans by registering and joining us for the Global Surveyors Day, on Tuesday, 23rd March 2021 (21.00 CET). CLGE is also cooperating with CEPLIS in its Working Group on Gender Equality.

In the name of CLGE, President Vladimir Krupa presents his best wishes for International Women’s Day 2021 which takes place on Monday, 8th March.
